This adaptor lets you bolt in the reliable Toyota RF1A Gear Driven transfer case found in 1979 - 1997 model solid front axle Hilux in place of the chain driven transfer case found in IFS model Hilux/Surf/4Runner (both manual and auto)
Another popular application for this product is when fitting the stronger R series box in place of the G series boxes found in solid front axle hilux.
This kit uses a 23 spline coupler for added strength, so you will need a 23 spline crawl box or input shaft.
Requires a top shift transfer case.
